His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visiting the ‘Gandhi Samadhi’, the last resting place of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat and paid tributes to the Father of The Nation, earlier today. His Holiness was accompanied by Bishops from His Holiness’s Official delegation and from the Holy Jacobite Syrian Christian Church.

His Holiness has been accompanied by a high level delegation including Bishops and Church diplomats.

Senior RSS leader & National General Secretary of BJP Mr. Ram Madhav visited His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II at New Delhi today, 19.02.2015 Thursday. Mr. Madhav as requested by Adv. K.V Sabu (who arranged His Holiness's meeting with PM Mr. Narendra Modi) came to Hotel Ashoka where His Holiness stayed and talked to His Holiness there. The Holy Episcopal Synod of the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Church in India was held today at the St. Peter's & St. Paul's Church in Puthencruz, to evaluate the preparations of the Holy Apostolic Visit of the supreme head of the Church His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem-II.

Moran Ignatius Aphrem-II started the preparations for the first Apostolic visit to Malankara after adorning the throne of Apostle St. Peter. His Holiness and the delegation praying at the Church in Lebanon - blessing crosses....

On February 1, Vilambara Sandesa Pathaka (Apostolic visit proclamation rally) passing through all churches in the Kottayam diocese, concluded at Kottayam Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the venue where His Holiness meets the faithful at the public meeting to be held on 08 Feb 2015 at 5 pm. A kodimaram (flag pole) from Puthupally Church with 122 Patriarchal flags denoting the 122 predecessors of Patriarch H.H. Aphrem-II has been raised at the venue by H.E's Mor Thimotheos Thomas, Mor Gregorios Joseph, Mor Koorilos Geevarghese, Mor Philoxenos Zacharias and Mor Barnabas Geevarghese. The 123rd flag denoting the present Patriarch will be raised here by H.B. Mor Baselios Thomas-I, the Catholicos on 6th February 2015 when the proclamation procession from all over Malankara reaches the venue at around 6 pm.

കരിങ്ങാച്ചിറ / പുത്തൻകുരിശ്: വിശുദ്ധ ശ്ലൈഹീക സന്ദർശനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചു കൊച്ചി ഭദ്രാസന യൂത്ത് അസ്സോസ്സിയേഷൻ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ നടന്ന വിളംബര ഘോഷയാത്ര പുത്തൻകുരിശ് പാത്രിയാർക്കൽ സെന്റർ മൈതാനിയിൽ സമാപിച്ചപ്പോൾ (01.02.201, 5.45) അഭിവന്ദ്യ പിതാക്കന്മാരായ മോർ ഗ്രീഗോറിയോസ് ജോസഫ്, മോർ പോളിക്കാര്പ്പോസ് സഖറിയാസ്, മോർ അന്തീമോസ് മാത്യൂസ് എന്നീ മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്തന്മാർ ജാഥയെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചു. യൂത്ത് അസ്സോസ്സിയേഷൻ ഭാരവാഹികളായ ബിജു സ്കറിയ, സിനോൾ വി സാജു, ജോസ് സ്ലീബ തുടങ്ങിയവരും നൂറു കാണക്കിന് പ്രവർത്തകരും സംബന്ധിച്ച ജാഥ പുത്തൻകുരിശ് പാത്രിയാർക്കൽ സെന്റർ മൈതാനിയിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അന്തരീക്ഷം "അന്ത്യോഖ്യാ - മലങ്കര ബന്ധം" വിളികളാൽ മുഖരിതമായി.
A proclamation rally of Holy Apostolic Visit has been conducted by the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Youth Association of Kochi Diocese. The rally started from Saint Georges Jacobite Syrian Church, Karingachira and halted at Patriarch Ignatius Zaka I Iwas Centre - Patriarchal Centre. Their Eminences the metropolitans Mor Gregorios Joseph, Mor Polycarpos Zacharias and Mor Anthimos Matthews officiated the rally. The atmosphere of the HQ of our Holy Church in India has been filled with the acclamation "Long live Antioch - Malankara Relationship"!
