Metropolitan Paulose Mor Philexinos garlanded at Mumbai airport on arrival from Cochin on 15th August 1975 by V.Rev.Thomas Corepiscopa Moothadam (later the first metropolitan of the Outside Kerala Diocese, late lamented Thomas Mor Theophilos). Also seen in the picture is late lamented Kadavil Paulose Mor Athanasius, the Metropolitan of the Evangelical Association of the East. Mor Philexinos Thirumeni was on way to Damascus to be consecrated as the Catholicos of the East.
